Water Safety Workshop

Two lifeguards from the Blue Lagoon visited school on 8th July as part of their annual Get Safe for Summer campaign aimed at providing advice and tips on how the children can stay safe in and around water this summer.

The children learned of the dangers which may arise whilst swimming in any water source including rivers and the sea, what to do when they see someone in difficulty, how to use buoyancy aids to assist with rescue and how to put someone in the recovery position.

Thank you to the Blue Lagoon staff for their very important life-saving advice.
