Christmas Activities

December, as usual was a busy month. Activities began on 2nd December when key stage 2 pupils travelled to the Lyric theatre in Carmarthen to see a Welsh pantomime entitled Patagonia.

On 4th December years 5 and 6 attended Dyffyn Taf's annual production. This year, the pupils put on a superb performance of Les Miserables.

Llanboidy Christmas Fayre was held on Friday 5th December and as usual, we were invited to entertain at this event. The school council organised a fundraising stall to sell reindeer food, advent slates and a calendar, all hand crafted by the children and staff. Thank you to everyone who attended.

The children donned their festive hats on 10th December for our Christmas lunch. Once again, Angela and Cynthia did us proud, cooking and serving a delicious meal.

On 15th December foundation phase pupils travelled to Crymych to watch a Welsh medium pantomeim "Jack Russell and the Pirates of Cardiganshire".

We welcomed back a former pupil to the school on 17th December. Jodie, who has a hearing impairment, enhanced our carol singing with sign language and delighted the children with a signed adaptation of "Let it Go" to end.

A special visitor came to school on the morning of 18th December. Santa had taken time out of his very busy schedule to personally deliver a gift to each and every child in school. The excitement continued in the afternoon with the annual Christmas party.
