Year 6 pupils were invited to take part in the springboard challenge organised by Dyffryn Taf. The day is one of the transition days that are arranged to help ease the move from primary school to secondary.
Each team of pupils, with assistance from pupil mentors from Dyffryn Taf, were required to work together to complete a technical challenge. Their task was to design and make a motorised vehicle to carry a paper rocket across the hall to a launch pad where the rocket was then propelled into the air by a burst of compressed air.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
