On 30th June pupils from key stage 2 travelled to St Fagans museum to experience a lesson in the old school house and to have a taste of what school life was like in Victorian times.
Donned in Victorian style outfits, the children were greeted at the school gates by the school master. Once inside, the children participated in traditional lessons incorporating the three R's. This experience brought what the children had learned in school, to life. They also learned more about how pupils in Victorian times were disciplined and punished and were able to see and feel the equipment and resources that were used.
Needless to say, all the pupils were glad that they weren't born in those days!
